Lugang Cafe, Mall of Asia |
My Nanay and two Titas are celebrating their birthday this
October. I know that aside from their individual celebrations, they are also
planning a little R & R in Tagaytay to celebrate their birthday altogether. My Titas have been very supportive of me these past months, and to show them my appreciation I invited them out for dinner.
My sister and I arrived first in MOA so we roamed around to find a place to eat. We spotted Lugang Café. There was a queue outside. I guess one indication that a restaurant is good is if people are willing to wait to be seated. Though the restaurant looked a little crowded, I liked the elegant interior and I like Chinese food so we decided to try Lugang Café.
My sister reserved a table for us while I went to the north wing to meet my Nanay. When we got back, our group was already inside.
Here's a look at the place and our food.

But I can't find Tweety Bird in any of the 'bird cage' like ceiling lamps lol :p
Our table was at the second floor.
It was sort of a private area and we have a good view of the place.
They have plastic wares for kids.
We were with two active kids, it's safer to use plastic than glass ware.
Lugang Cafe serves Taiwanese/Cantonese cuisine. I'm a big fan of Chinese food. I can never go hungry in any foreign land as long as there's Chinese food. Lugang Cafe serves Taiwanese/Cantonese cuisine.
Our food: Crispy Chicken, Roasted Meat Combination, Vietnamese Egg Roll, Eggplant with Minced Pork in Clay Pot, Birthday Noodle, Abalone Mushroom & Jelly Fish, Pineapple Fried Rice, Golden Fried Rice, Sate Beef with Spinach, Beef with Chinese Crullers
I liked every single dish, not too oily for my taste.
My favorite was their Abalone Mushroom & Jelly Fish.
My Tita from Cavite, who is also one of the celebrants, unfortunately was not able to join us. My Tita from Quezon City didn't come as well because she was not feeling well. Everyone enjoyed the food, even my 3 y.o. nephew who had a hard time trying to use the chopstick. Looks oh so cute.
